About us:

Hanoi Hannah Express Lane is a fun, fast-paced Vietnamese restaurant located on High Street in Prahran, and has been operating in the area for more than 10 years. We are one of 7 restaurants in Melbourne owned by Commune Group (Hanoi Hannah Vol II, Firebird, New Quarter, Moonhouse, Tokyo Tina and Studio Amaro)

Express Lane serves fresh, tasty Vietnamese dishes- including banh mi, salads, curries and more.

We are primarily a takeaway restaurant, but also have a cute little dining area, with outdoor tables aswell. We have a lot of regular customers, and prioritise great guest experience and high quality food and presentation.

While we are a small team and small restaurant, we pump out a lot of tasty food and can get very busy, so our staff need to be adaptable, organised and ready for a challenge!

About The Role: Assistant Venue Manager

• Permanent Part-time role

• 24-28 hours per week (over 4-5 days)

Responsibilities:

• Serving customers in-store and over the phone

• Packing and dispensing delivery orders

• Cash handling and balancing tills

• Supervising and training junior staff members

• Daily food prep and cleaning tasks

• Maintaining an organised and safe venue (following OH&S procedures)

• Assisting the Venue Manager with weekly stock ordering and admin tasks

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in a hospitality role

• Previous experience in a supervisor or manager role

• Available Monday-Sunday (unfortunately this role won’t really suit students as it makes availability very difficult)
