Amphenol Australia is seeking an individual with professional purchasing experience in the electrical / automotive accessories market or related fields.

About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and dynamic individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment The primary function is to prepare and place purchase orders, maintain sufficient inventory levels and ensure goods are imported on time and on budget to meet customer’s expectations.
Requirements:
- Raise purchase orders for materials, supplies, or equipment using an ERP/MRP system.
- Liaise with vendors and overseas subsidiaries on manufacturing, quality and supply issues.
- Expedite purchase orders with vendors and maintain accurate and up to date due dates
- Liaise with freight forwarders and benchmark costs and performance
- Monitor and maintain inventories in line with company KPI’s
- Knowledge and detailed understanding of Incoterms and FTAs
- Co-ordinate and manage the import of goods by AIR, FCL and LCL.
- Update shipping dates for open order status reports on a weekly basis.
- Process of returns to vendors and updating RA forms.
- Minimum three (3) years of purchasing experience in electrical / automotive accessories market or related fields preferred.

- Proficient with a computer and Windows based applications (Word, Excel, ERP/MRP).
