About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Storeperson to join our team, supporting both the Maintenance Department and Dry Store. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing parts and consumables essential to our operations. You'll be upskilled across both Maintenance and Dry Store functions to ensure a well-rounded and dynamic skill set.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlace manual and electronic orders for parts and services using the Fishbowl Inventory System
Process requisition forms from various departments
Obtain quotes and availability from suppliers and submit for internal approval
Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Monitor stock levels of consumables and reorder as needed
Receive, check, unpack and allocate deliveries
Match requisitions, delivery dockets, and invoices accurately
Maintain and update stock records and service documentation
Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory counts
Load/unload goods using a forklift and prepare items for dispatch
Perform urgent supplier pick-ups using the company vehicle
Communicate daily with internal trades teams (plumbing, electrical, welding, mechanical)
Ensure invoices are processed and forwarded to the Accounts Department
Proven experience in a storeperson, procurement, or inventory role
Familiarity with inventory systems such as Fishbowl (or similar)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Solid understanding of stock management and ordering processes
High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams
Valid driver’s licence – essential (for urgent pick-ups)
