The role:
As a member of the Talent & Experience Chapter, you will operate across the business as a trusted advisor and strategic partner – influencing enterprise-wide talent decisions and shaping how we build, move, and engage our people. You will lead end to end talent initiatives, from strategic sourcing and internal mobility to co-creating capability plans with business leaders and delivering inclusive, data driven strategies to attract, grow, and retain high-performing talent.
No two days are the same – from enterprise wide talent projects and talent sourcing to embedding EVP and workforce insights into talent initiatives and strategic workforce planning, this role offers the variety and impact you have been looking for.
This is not a traditional Recruitment role, we are seeking a broader range of talent skills and the overall mindset to take on this exciting role. You must have a roll your sleeves up mindset to deliver exciting Talent initiatives and our People Strategy, including the requirement to filling role.
What success looks like?
- Building effective scalable frameworks and talent pipelines
- Building talent assets and collateral within the chapter to effectively embed talent practice across the business
- Supporting and developing best practice on boarding processes for leaders across the 7 Eleven business
- Senior leaders are confident in their hiring decisions, supported by data driven insights and inclusive, best-practice approaches.
- Capability plans are co-created with leaders and activated, supporting strategic workforce goals and business priorities.
- Workforce and engagement data are translated into actionable strategies that close capability and employee experience gaps.
- Your success is measured by growth in internal mobility, succession planning, and our overall talent movement is thriving, enabling growth and uplift in our talent maturity across our agile organisation.
- The Employee Experience strategies are tailored, enterprise aligned, and clearly designed to improve engagement, belonging, and retention.
- Our EVP is embedded, evolved, and visible across the employee lifecycle – attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier, diverse talent.
- Critical roles are filled through expert sourcing strategies that balance speed, quality, and inclusion.
Skills and experience
- Extensive Experience working as a strategic Talent or Performance Partner in a large retail-based environment.
- Previous experience building and delivering the Talent Strategies within a retail environment.
- Ability to link and connect on a broad range of People matter and communicate effectively across the business.
- High performance mindset, self-driven to set stretch goals and encourages and coaches others to strive for excellence.
- Previous experience using data analytics to drive capability within the Talent team.
- Initiative taker, with the mindset to improve current systems and processes.
- Demonstrated effective communicator with sharp problem-solving ability.
