Ray White CRE is looking for a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Collingwood team.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays if required (time in lieu provided).
We're looking for motivated individuals eager to start a career in real estate - whether you're a career changer, fresh to the industry, or bringing some prior sales or property experience.
While real estate experience is welcomed, it's not essential, a can-do attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most. You'll receive in-house training as well as development through Ray White and other platforms, working in a junior role supporting both our Sales and Leasing teams, with the goal of progressing into the senior BDM or sales teams over time. You must hold a current Agent's Representative Certificate or licence, a valid driver's licence, and have access to your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new property management business through various channels (referrals, networking, databases, online platforms, walk-ins).
- Leverage a fully established and ready-to-use database of qualified sales leads to drive new business opportunities and accelerate growth.
- Attend listing presentations and convert appraisals to new management agreements.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the rent roll and sales listings in line with company targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, referral partners, developers, and relocation agents.
- Accurately assess market rental values and provide tailored recommendations to clients.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals and management agreements.
- Represent the agency at industry and community events as required.
- Ensure smooth handover of new managements to the property management team.
- Maintain and update prospecting activity in CRM systems (PME, IRE, IE).
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
