Director of ICT
Our Client – Education Sector | Mulgrave | Full-time
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of ICT to lead and manage the strategic direction, operations, and continuous improvement of all ICT and AV systems. This role will play a key part in enhancing the organisation’s digital capability, supporting both academic and administrative needs.
You’ll lead a high-performing team of 7, drive innovation across core platforms like Synergetic (back end) and Schoolbox (front end), and shape technology solutions that improve the experience for staff and students.
Salary & Benefits $150K base + super Location: Mulgrave Car parking on-site Full-time, 5 days on-site (flexibility considered after settling in)

What You’ll Bring
✔️ 5+ years in ICT leadership ✔️ Proven experience managing diverse tech teams ✔️ Customer-first mindset with a service excellence focus ✔️ Strong planning, enterprise architecture & project delivery skills ✔️ Deep knowledge of networks, servers, cloud, cyber security ✔️ Clear, confident communication with all stakeholders ✔️ Strong grasp of compliance, privacy & legal frameworks in schools Bonus: Education/NFP experience + hands-on knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Synergetic & Schoolbox
TimelineInterview Process:1st Round: Panel interview (Principal, Director of Business Services + external IT specialist) – 8–10 questions, ~1 hour2nd Round: Presentation-style interview
✅ Compliance RequirementsMust hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and pass a National Police Check
