Connectified in collaboration with our parent company (SCSI) engineers, deploys and supports private telecommunications networks, IoT infrastructure and electronic security solutions for critical Australian industries.
From our Seaford head office we operate a 24 × 7 Network & Operations Centre and deliver end-to-end managed services to enterprise, SMB, government and emergency-services clients.
2 | Why This Role?
Designed for recent IT graduates, this in-office, full-time position provides a structured launch-pad into networking and security engineering. You will gain hands-on experience across:
· Private 4G/5G and fixed-line IP networks
· IoT and M2M device fleets
· Electronic security device management)

3 | Key Responsibilities
Core Function
Typical Tasks
First-line Support
• Answer phone/email tickets, triage and resolve Level 1 incidents
• Provide clear, confident guidance to customers, partners and vendors
Network & Device Monitoring
• Use Vendor based and custom dashboards to detect faults and performance issues
• Initial diagnosis on private APNs, VPNs, routers, cellular modems, IoT sensors
Provisioning & Configuration
• Assist Engineers to stage, configure and activate new network services and security devices
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
• Maintain knowledge-base articles, run-books and asset records
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and process refinements
Escalation & Collaboration
• Gather detailed logs, replicate issues and escalate to senior engineers when required
4 | Essential Qualifications & Skills
· Diploma of Information Technology (Networking) or higher
· Networking Fundamentals IP addressing, routing & switching, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN concepts
· OS & Tools Comfort with Windows and Linux CLI, basic scripting, MS 365 productivity suite
· Exceptional written & spoken English; able to convey technical information in simple terms
· Customer-centric, analytical, eager to learn, calm under pressure, methodical in documenting work
5 | Desirable Extras (Nice-to-Have)
· CompTIA Network+, CCNA or similar vendor certifications
· Exposure to cellular technologies (LTE, 5G) or private APNs
· Familiarity with electronic security systems and IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP)
· ITIL Foundation or experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, FreshDesk, Monday)
